Rangers fans can purchase the newly released 2D beat-em-up Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind physically on May 30th, 2025 for $34.99. The deluxe version will feature a steelbook, 6 collectible Power Rangers cards and a lenticular postcard for $49.99 USD.
I still haven’t gotten around to beating the game, but I enjoyed what I played. It reminds me of the older SNES Power Rangers titles, which were great. Check out Digital Eclipse‘s announcement via BlueSky below.
Press Release:
Get ready for an all-new adventure with an original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers storyline that everyone can enjoy, and tons of references to MMPR lore for long-time fans. In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, the team faces off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers’ long-time nemesis. Robo-Rita has conjured a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally vanquish the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self. Will the two Ritas and their army of monstrous enemies from across the MMPR timeline finally succeed in destroying the Power Rangers? Or will these teenagers with attitude learn to work together and counter this catastrophic chronological collaboration?
