It’s been half a decade since the big man Reggie Fils-Aime stepped down as president of Nintendo of America. Frankly, the new president is so quiet that the only thing I know about him is that he’s named after a Nintendo villain (Bowser).
Younger Nintendo fans don’t know what they’re missing, as Reggie and the old NoA crew would make E3 (sigh…) and other Nintendo events memorable and exciting. Now, well, there’s no E3, and there’s no personality at Nintendo anymore (except right here at NintendoUp!). Don’t get me wrong, Nintendo’s game output recently has been outstanding, but their marketing videos are nowhere near as good as they were when Reggie was at the helm.
We hope you’ll count on NintendoUp! to fill the void Reggie left behind.
