During the Treehouse: Live presentation, Nintendo showcased the faster loading times of Switch 2 compared to the original Switch. To demonstrate, they used the older Zelda game Breath of the Wild, which has been enhanced with higher frame rates, HDR, and up to 4K resolution on Nintendo’s new system.
As you can notice, the Switch 2 is about 8 seconds faster, loading in ~16 seconds versus the Switch’s ~24 seconds. That’s about 50% faster (although my math sucks, so I’m trusting Google for that :P).
It’s hardly surprising, but still nice to have. What do you think?
