Sonic‘s big 35th anniversary doesn’t take place until next year (in June 2026). However, per a new official calendar, the render for his upcoming redesign has been revealed. The calendar features art from past Sonic games, as well as the new redesign for Sonic at the center.
To my eyes, the new design looks pretty close to his older design. His hair, however, looks a bit more pointy, and his ears are a little more pulled back. But I’m no Sonic design expert. Either way, I like both looks just fine; how about you?
