The $witch 2 is gonna cost ya. Not only is the console a rather expensive $449.99 USD (and Nintendo is charging foreigners a tax in Japan), Nintendo is also charging for a damn user guide, and game prices will be higher too (exact pricing depends on the region).
And now, for the cherry on top, your old MicroSD Cards won’t be compatible with the Switch 2…so just toss them in a landfill.
Okay, I do understand why. The Switch 2 requires faster MicroSD speeds for more graphically intensive games, and MicroSD Express cards will provide that speed. This is a change I don’t actually mind.
It’s also worth pointing out the Switch 2 will feature 256 GB of internal storage, up from the Switch’s 32 GB and Switch OLED’s 64 GB. However, game sizes will likely increase.
