He’s here to take you back to the past—the NES era, in fact. The Angry Video Game Nerd has announced a new game for Switch, set to launch in Q2 2025. Surprisingly, a physical NES cartridge release is also planned.
In the announcement video above, you’ll notice that this is a classic 2D side-scrolling action platformer. Fans of the YouTube show will no doubt recognize characters and themes from the raunchy series.

The nerd already has two games available, with Angry Video Game Nerd 1 & 2 Deluxe available on Nintendo Switch. I actually like those games, so I’m interested in this new one as well.
