Tetris Is Finally Coming to Switch Online’s NES Catalog and Tetris 99

Nintendo of America has confirmed that Tetris will be coming to the Nintendo Switch’s NSO service via its NES application on December 12th, 2024.

Perhaps more exciting for the more modern gamer is a Tetris event for the Tetris 99 game (a bit confusing, I know). You can unlock an original NES-styled Tetris theme for the game if you collect 100 points between December 6th and December 10th (this is Japan timing, but North America should be close to identical). Tetris 99 is free for all NSO subscribers.
