Update: After the Switch 2 trailer, Ubisoft has come forward to share their love for the system. Could this be a sign of major Ubisoft support indeed coming to the next Nintendo console?
Original Story (January 14th, 2025): Earlier today, we reported that NateTheHate believes the Switch 2 will be shown off this week on January 16th. Now, that same industry insider is claiming that Metal Gear Solid Delta, as well as a handful of Assassin’s Creed games (Mirage and Shadows) will be coming to the Switch 2.
In addition, the leaker states he believes Ubisoft will be supporting the Switch 2 with “more than half a dozen” games, most of which will be ports of older games that weren’t able to be ported to the original Switch. You can apparently expect entries in the Tom Clancy The Devision and Rainbow Six Siege series. What’s more, a port of the Mario & Rabbids games could be in the works with a compilation of the two games.
Lastly, Nate predicts Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will come to Nintendo’s new console. That game releases later in 2025, so it’s possible it could release at the same time as the other console versions.
