Apparently, Warner Bros. decided to remove multiple Cartoon Network branded games from the Nintendo Switch eShop close to Christmas time.
No explanation was given for the removal of these games, but one could assume that it has to do with licensing or other legal issues (the bane of human existence). The games were also removed from Steam.
Here are a list of the games removed (that we know of):
- OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes
- Steven Universe: Save the Light
- Steven Universe: Unleash the Light
- Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time
- Adventure Time: Finn and Jake’s Epic Quest (PC)
- Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head Games (PC)
If you already bought these games, don’t worry. You’ll still be able to redownload any of the games you purchased. However, new customers are out of luck and won’t be able to purchase the games.
I happened to like the Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time game, so I’m glad I bought it when I did.
Are you dissappointed in this news? And what’s your favorite Cartoon Network show? Let me know in the comments!
